A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on October 25, 2022 from 9:40 A.M.-1:30 P.M.. There were 81 children present with 16 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on review of staff records, the center failed to ensure that all staff had current certification in CPR.
Evidence:
1. Staff #1's CPR certification expired on 06/23/2022.
2. Administration verified that the CPR certification was expired.

Plan of Correction: The staff member had been previously scheduled for the CPR training, and could not make the class. Administration will immediately get the staff member scheduled for CPR certification. The staff member will always be in the presence of a staff member who has a current certification.
