Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on April 8, 2024 from approximately 12:25 pm to 1:40 pm. Provider and assistant were present with ten children. Children were observed watching videos before napping. Three child records were reviewed and staff training was reviewed for two caregivers. Violation found is noted on the violation notice.

Based on review and interview, provider did not ensure shelter-in-place procedures are practiced a minimum of twice per year.

Evidence: There was documentation of one shelter-in-place drill in 2023. Provider confirmed a second drill was not conducted.
Plan of Correction: Two shelter-in-place drills will be conducted in 2024.
