Inspector Notes
A renewal inspection was conducted on April 21, 2022. There were six children present, ranging in ages from infants to five years, with two caregivers supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of two child records, two caregiver records and one household member record were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Violations
3The following was observed on the outside swing playset:
1. The chains for the individual swings were wrapped around the playset top beam rather than connected by the S-hooks.
2. One of two of the bench seats in the multiple-child glider swing on the playset was not connected causing the seat to fall on one side.
Evidence: The gate at the bottom of the stairway leading to the upstairs was propped against the wall. The stairway is in the hallway by the children's "classroom" and the hall bathroom that is used by children. Children in care ranged in age from infants through four years old.
Evidence: At approximately 10:15 AM, provider was present with 4 children in the room designated as the "classroom". A major news network was playing on the television broadcasting updates on international war.
