8VAC20-790 SUBSIDY REGULATIONS.
Inspector Notes
A subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted on 06/08/2022. There were 32 children, ages 18 months- 10 years, and 4 staff members present during the inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, staff qualifications and trainings, staffing and supervision, physical plant, programs, emergencies and nutrition. The children were observed during free choice activities, having breakfast and during outside play. A total of 5 children?s records, 5 staff records, and 2 applicant records were reviewed. The inspector discussed the following with the staff: ratio, staff/volunteers, supervision and nutrition. The inspector arrived for the inspection at 7:50 am and departed at 10:20 am.
A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements not cover in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable subsidy requirements. No violations were issued.
