Inspector Notes

A renewal inspection was initiated and concluded on Monday, March 20, 2023 . There was 4 children in care with 1 caregiver supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 child records , 1 caregiver, and records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on interview, the licensee did not ensure to obtain documentation of an annual inspection and cleaning of wood burning stoves and fireplaces.

Evidence: Interview with caregiver confirmed the documentation of annual inspections were not available for review for the inspection.
Plan of Correction: The provider will contact company and get a copy as well as service appointment.
