Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on February 13 2024 between 9:45am and 10:30am. There were 40 children in the direct care of 4 staff members. Children were observed reading, building, working on craft projects, and having screen time. Staff requirements, child records, the first aid kit, medications, and emergency drills were reviewed and inspected. A citation is noted on the violation notice. Based on record review, the center did not have documentation that a parent was notified by the end of the day of any known minor injury.

Evidence: An injury report, completed on November 29 2023, did not have a parent signature nor was the box stating "parent notified" checked.
