Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was conducted on August 25, 2022. There were 9 children present, for a total of 28 points, with 2 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 4 child records and 4 caregiver/household records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based o review of two caregivers records, one caregiver did not submit to fingerprinting before their first day of employment.
Evidence

Based on observation and interview with caregiver, the diapering surface is not being cleaned and sanitized after each use.
Evidence
A container of Clorox wipes was observed by the diapering surface.
Caregiver #2 confirmed the diapering surface was wiped down with Clorox wipes after each diapering surface.
Regulations require the diapering surface be sprayed or dipped with a solution of soap and water, then pat dry with single use paper towel to clean the surface. Spray or dip with a solution of bleach and water and allow to air dry to sanitize.
