8VAC20-790 Subsidy Program Vendor Requirements for Family Day Homes

Inspector Notes

There were 4 children ages 3 years to age 5 years old (7 points) with the Provider. The programming area, attendance, menus, Provider and Household member records, 4 children?s records, emergency drills, emergency supplies, and policies were reviewed. Provider did not have any children?s medications onsite. Children were observed participating in sensory activities. The provider is current with MAT and CPR and First Aid training.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
