Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was conducted on 2/28/23 from 10:15 am to 11:20 am. There were 31 children present, with 8 staff supervising. The children were engaged in science, art and outdoor play. The children were also observed eating morning snack which comprised crackers, carrot sticks and water. A total of 2 children's records, 3 staff records, medications and the center's drill records were reviewed. The center demonstrated compliance in the installation of a carbon monoxide detector.

Based on records review, the center did not obtain documentation of a physical exam for children within 30 days of enrollment.
Evidence: Child # 1's first day of enrollment was 10/25/22. Documentation of Child # 1's physical was not obtained.
Plan of Correction: A copy of the physical will be obtained from the parents.
