Inspector Notes

An unannounced complaint inspection was conducted on August 8, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. through 11:00 a.m. The complaint was received by the Valley Licensing Office on July 28, 2023. Three staff were interviewed along with the record for one staff member.

The information gathered during the investigation does not support the allegations, so the complaint is determined to be not valid. Other areas of non-compliance may be found on the violation notice.

Based on observation the center failed to obtain the required ration in one classroom.

Evidence:

1. On August 8, 2023, at approximately 10:15 a.m., the licensing inspector observed Classroom #1 had nine children, ages 2-3, with one staff member.
2. The youngest child in Classroom #1 was 2 years of age requiring the ratio to be one staff member for every eight children.
3. The director confirmed Classroom #1 was out of ratio.
