Inspector Notes

A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted in conjunction with the licensing inspection. Subsidy standards that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this SHSI. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Repeat Violation
All staff who work directly with children shall have within 90 days of the date of employment current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) appropriate
to the ages of children in care, to include an in- person competency.
The record for Staff #1 did not include an in-person competency for the CPR certification reviewed. The record for Staff #2 did not contain a CPR certification.
Plan of Correction: Will make sure to complete the in person cpr training and not just online.

The record for Staff #2 (employed for 10 months) was missing current first aid certification.
