When a child is placed in an infant seat or high chair, the protective belt shall be fastened securely.
In the infant room, a 9 month old was observed in a low feeding chair without the protective belt fastened.

Plan of Correction: When infants are placed in feeding chairs, staff will now check all chairs a second
time, before the start of the activity, to ensure that all belts are fastened. All staff
have been informed of the importance of a protective belt for safety and of the extra
precautions that must be taken to ensure all children are secured.
