Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was conducted on 09/23/2022. There were a total of 33 children with 7 staff members present. Children were observed during snack time, engaged in group activities and outdoor play time. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 4 child records and 3 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on a review of staff records, each staff member did not submit documentation of a
negative tuberculosis screening completed within the last 30 calendar days of the date of
employment.
Evidence:
Staff #1 (date of hire 9/6/2022) had a TB test or screening dated 1/11/2022.
Plan of Correction: Moving forward we will make sure new hires have their TB test within 30 days of starting.
