Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was conducted on 02/29/2024. There were a total of 60 children with 11 staff members supervising. Children were observed transitioning outside, and engaged in a gingerbread book/cooking activity. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 5 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on a review of staff records, the CDC did not ensure required background checks were repeated every 5 years.
Evidence:
Staff #3 had fingerprint results that expired on 07/11/2023.
Plan of Correction: We will send staff #3 to get their fingerprints as soon as possible.
