Inspector Notes

A monitoring renewal complaint inspection was completed on 5/2/23 from 10:30pm until 12:05 at the center. There were 31 children present with 5 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records were reviewed on site and 5 staff records were reviewed virtually.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation and measurement, where playground equipment is provided, resilient surfacing failed to comply with minimum safety standards.
Evidence:
1. The pea gravel in front and back of the swings had a measurement
of approximately 2-3 inches in some areas and in some spots bare ground was showing.
Plan of Correction: More pea gravel will be added to needed areas.
