Inspector Notes
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on 05/5/20 and concluded on the same date. A complaint was received by the department regarding an allegation in the areas of special care provisions. The director was contacted by phone to conduct the investigation and supplied all necessary information to complete the investigation. The evidence gathered supported the allegation of non-compliance with standards or law and one violation was issued.

Based on interview, the center did not follow their medication policy.

Plan of Correction: The admin.staff and staff will ensure treatments/medications will not be missed by using a dry erase board with the times medications are to be given or use a timer as a reminder.
