Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 3/28/2023. There were 9 children, ages 3 years-4years and 3 staff present during the inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, personnel, environment and equipment, care of children, preventing the spread of disease, emergencies and nutrition. A total of 4 children?s records and 1 staff record were reviewed. The children were observed during center time and lunch. The inspector arrived for the inspection at 10:37am and departed the center at 11:24am.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the provider.

Based on observation, the center failed to ensure that hazardous substances, such as cleaning materials, were kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.

Evidence: The blue cabinet underneath the sink in between the bathrooms in classroom A was unlocked and had cleaning materials inside. No children were observed in the area but it was accessible to children.
Plan of Correction: Provider will ensure cabinet is locked at all times.
