Children's hands shall be washed with soap and running water or disposable wipes before and after eating meals or snacks. Following lunch, all 12 children were observed going from the lunch table to the carpet without washing their hands or using a disposable wipe.
Plan of Correction: The provider will remind staff of handwashing requirement before and after meals.
Standard 8VAC20-780-70
Staff records shall include the person to be notified in an emergency. This information shall be kept at the center. Staff #2 and Staff #3 were working on-site, and their emergency contact information was not at the center.
Plan of Correction: Provider is working to implement a new practice, where all sites have contact information for each worker.
