Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was initiated on March 14 2025 and completed on March 14 2025. The on-site inspection began at 10:45am and ended at 12:15pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There was 1 child present and 1 caregiver; the point total was 3. The inspector reviewed 1 children?s records and 2 caregiver/household members.
This inspection included a document review, tour of the home, interviews, and observations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the violation will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five business days from today, which will be the close of business on April 7 2025. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

Each child day program that is licensed pursuant to this chapter and any program described in subdivision A 4, B 1, or B 5 of ? 22.1-289.030 that serves preschool-age children shall develop and implement a plan to test potable water from sources identified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as high priority, including bubbler-style and cooler-style drinking fountains, kitchen taps, classroom combination sinks and drinking fountains, home economics room sinks, teacher's lounge sinks, nurse's office sinks, classroom sinks in special education classrooms, and sinks known to be or visibly used for consumption.

The family day home provider has not submitted a plan for review to the Virginia Department of Health nor has testing been completed. The provider is 3 months out of compliance.
