8VAC20-790 SUBSIDY REGULATIONS.
Inspector Notes
A subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted on 05/17/2022. There were 19 children, ages 3 years-5 years, and 5 staff members present during the inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, staff qualifications and trainings, staffing and supervision, physical plant, programs, emergencies and nutrition. The children were observed in free choice activities, learning time, having a morning snack, and during outside play. A total of 5 children?s records, 5 staff records, and 2 medications were reviewed. The inspector discussed the following with the staff: cleaning materials, fall zones, children?s allergies and medication requirements. The inspector arrived for the inspection at 8:45 am and departed at 10:45 am.
A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements not cover in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable subsidy requirements. No violations were issued.
