Inspector Notes

An in-person monitoring inspection was conducted today. All rooms were in ration during the inspection. Children were observed washing hands, eating lunch and transitioning from the playground to the inside. Items reviewed today: 1 medication, 3 staff records, 5 child records first aid supplies, emergency supplies and emergency evacuation drills. All items were in compliance. The inspection report will be typed off site and emailed to the facility for signatures. Based on a review of records, staff records did not contain documentation of a completed TB screening result at the time of employment and prior to coming into contact with children.
Evidence:
1 of 3 staff records reviewed were missing documentation in the allowable time frame of employment.
Staff A - Date of Hire (DOH) is documented as 1/24/2022. The TB results on file are dated 1/25/2022.
Plan of Correction: We will make sure any new employee date of hire is after we receive the TB results.

Based on a review of infant bottles, not all bottles were dated.
Evidence:
Bottles for 1 of 5 infants were not dated. (Child 1)
Plan of Correction: Remind parents to label all bottles with their child's name and date. Remind all teachers to check all bottles upon arrival.
