Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was initiated on 9/4/24 and completed on 9/4/24, as a part of licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 1:25PM and ended at 3:35 PM. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. The inspector reviewed 6 children?s records and 2 staff records on-site. This inspection included; document review, tour of the facility,
interviews and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-780-420-E-1
Based on a review of documentation, the amount of time an infant spent on their stomachs was not recorded.
Evidence:
1. Staff stated "we send pictures to the parents".
2. 30 minutes of time was not written on the daily sheet for an infant requiring tummy time. (Child 1)
Plan of Correction: Staff were reminded to document the time infants spend on their stomachs.
The digital form was amended to add tummy time in a specific space.
