Inspector Notes
An unannounced Renewal inspection was conducted today. A total of 8 children (22pts) with 3 staff. The children were in one of the program rooms with 2 staff. The children were engaged with staff singing and dancing. A walk thru of the home was completed, observation of the backyard, cribs, bathroom and kitchen was made. The home was maintained and equipped with books, materials and equipment age and stage appropriate for the children currently in care. The provider was observed preparing lunch by slicing fresh fruit such as apples and clementines. No medication needs at this time and no identified food allergies. Positive interaction between staff and children were observed. A complete inspection of the physical plant, 5 children and 4 staff records, fire drill log, and emergency procedures was conducted during this inspection.
