Inspector Notes

A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on 11/13/2023. At the time of inspection, there were 48 children present with 7 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on record review, staff did not complete, annually, the required department's health and safety update course.
Evidence:
1) The most recent documentation for the department's health and safety update course in Staff #2's record was dated 02/26/2020; and in the record for Staff #4 was dated 09/20/2022.
Plan of Correction: Staff #2's 2022 training was located in her e-mail. Staff 2 and Staff 4 will both complete health and safety update course on or before 11/20/2023.
