Inspector Notes
A monitoring inspection was conducted on 11/13/2023 between the hours of approximately 12:20 pm and 2:30 pm. There were 48 children present, ranging in ages from 8 months and 5 years, with 7 staff directly supervising the children. Children were observed during their designated rest period.
The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 3 child records and 4 staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Violations
4Evidence:
1) The record for Staff #4 did not contain documentation of having completed training in Safe sleep practices and Shaken baby syndrome/Head trauma.
Evidence:
1) Child #1 has emergency medication in the center. Staff assigned to Child #1's class are not MAT trained.
Evidence:
1) Allergy plans were not available for review in the following rooms: Infants, Toddlers, 2 year-olds, and 3 year-olds.
2) The allergy list available in the 4/5 year-olds room was not dated nor covered to maintain the information confidential.
