Inspector Notes
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 06/12/2023 from 10:00am to 12:45pm. There were 57 children ages 7 months to age 10 years old supervised by 8 staff. The physical plant, outdoor playground area, programming, attendance, menus, 4 staff records, 1 volunteer record, 5 children?s records, 1 medication with corresponding authorization records, emergency drills, emergency supplies, and policies were reviewed. Children were observed participating in snack, floor play and outside play. Handwashing procedures were also observed. There was an adequate number of staff present with current certification in Medication Administration Training (MAT), CPR and First Aid, and Daily Health Observation (DHO) training. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Violations
3Evidence: On the large playground there is a 4 seat ride-on spring toy that is 15 inches in height with rubber mulch at 3 inches in depth under the seat instead of the required 6 inches.
Evidence: In the Infant classroom, there were 6 containers of food brought from home that were stored in the refrigerator and not labeled for each child with a name or date.
Evidence: In the Infant classroom, 5 bottles were stored in the refrigerator and not dated and there were 3 bottles stored in the refrigerator that were not labeled with the name of the child as required.
