Inspector Notes

A renewal inspection was initiated on 4/24/2023 at approximately 10:05am and concluded on 4/24/2023 and approximately 11:10am. There were a total of 21 children with 4 staff members present. Children were observed during music time, engaged in group activities and outdoor play time. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 child records and 4 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on observation, areas and equipment of the center, inside and outside, were not maintained in a clean, safe and operable condition.

Evidence #1: Metal wire ties with sharp edges were found along the chain link fence bordering the playground.

Evidence #2: The "merry go-cycle" is missing 2 acorn nuts that hold the equipment in place.
Plan of Correction: Center will have the metal ties removed, and will install 2 acorn nuts on the "merry go-cycle."
