Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today between the hours of 9:30am-10:45am. There were a total of 47 children with 11 supervising staff members present. Children were observed during handwashing, circle time, centers,and engaged in group activities. A selection of staff and children records, medications and other documents were reviewed. The physical space, emergency supplies, evacuation drills, attendance records, and the Emergency Preparedness Plan were reviewed. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the violation notice. Based on record review and interview, the center did not obtain a central registry finding within 30 days of employment.
Evidence:
1. Staff #2's record (Date of Hire-08/31/2022) did not contain a Central Registry Finding.
2. Staff #3 confirmed that a Central Registry Search was mailed on 08/16/2022, but the search results had not been returned.
Plan of Correction: The management team will follow up with the Office of Background Investigations to obtain the finding for the staff member.
