Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 04/27/2023 and concluded with an electronic record review on 05/04/2023. There were 11 children, ages 3 years- 5 years, and 3 staff providing direct supervision present during the inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, staff qualifications and trainings, staffing and supervision, physical plant, programs, emergencies and nutrition. The children were observed in mealtime, self-directed activities, teacher directed activities, and outdoor time. A total of 5 children?s records, and 3 staff records were reviewed. The inspector arrived for the inspection at 8:30 am and departed at 10:00 am.
The information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the provider.

Based on observation, the center failed to ensure that each restroom area provided for children shall have sinks located near the toilets that are supplied with running warm water that does not exceed 120? F.
Evidence: The faucets in both restrooms sinks did not dispense any water when turned to the left (hot). The maximum water temperature in both restrooms measured approximately 66?F.
Plan of Correction: Staff will report issue to administration.
