An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today.
There were 38 children present with five staff supervising.
The children were reading stories, dancing and exercising in the gym.
Three child records and three staff records were reviewed.

Based on a tour of the playground, the facility failed to ensure compliance with the required depth (6 inches) of resilient surface material under equipment with moving parts or climbing apparatus.
1. There are three to four inches of mulch under climbing equipment.
Plan of Correction: The Head of School reported that new mulch is on site and will be distributed to meet the required depth of six inches.
