Inspector Notes
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 10:30am to 12:10pm with the provider. There were six children in care, ranging from 14-months to four-years-old, for a total of 17 points. Children were observed doing workbooks at tables- tracing stars and other shapes, coloring trains; reading a book; playing with plastic animals; and doing puzzles. Five children?s records and the provider's record were reviewed and were in compliance. The provider has current certification in CPR and First Aid. The provider has current certification in Medication Administration Training (MAT) but reported there was no medication on site for children today. The menu indicated that lunch today would be spaghetti, salad, strawberries, wheat bread, and milk. The first aid kit, flashlight, weather band radio, carbon monoxide detector, and fire extinguisher were observed. The emergency drill log and attendance were also reviewed.
