Inspector Notes
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 12/06/23 from 10:10 a.m. to 11:26 a.m. with the provider. There were seven children in care, ranging in age from two to four-years-old, for a total of 14 points. Children were observed watching an educational program and making holiday crafts. Six child records and one caregiver record were reviewed. The provider has current certification in CPR and First Aid. No medications were on site. The first aid kit, flashlight, weather band radio, and fire extinguisher were observed. The emergency drill log, attendance, and menu were also reviewed. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Violations
3Evidence: In the dramatic play area, the corner of a carpet was curled up creating a trip hazard.
Evidence: There was one electrical outlets uncovered in the programming space with seven children under five years of age present.
Evidence: During the inspection, Licensing Inspector observed two, three-year-old children sitting at empty tables from 10:15 a.m. to 10:35 a.m. An interview with the provider revealed that the children were placed at separate tables away from the group because they were not participating in group activities.
