Inspector Notes

An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted on 6/5/24 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. in conjunction with a monitoring inspection (see that inspection report for details). The two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. One staff record was reviewed for documentation of the mandatory Virginia Preservice, Health & Safety Update training, and current certification in First Aid and CPR. There are no children currently enrolled with diagnosed food allergies and their records were reviewed for allergy care plans. Areas of non-compliance are listed in the violation notice. If you have questions regarding this inspection, please contact the Licensing Inspector, Beth Velke, at beth.velke@doe.virginia.gov or 804-629-8302.

Please complete the "Plan of Correction" and "Date to be Corrected" areas on the Violation Notice for each violation cited and return to me by 5 pm on 7/5/24.
