Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an in person component, including email contacts, documents review, interviews and an in person tour of the program.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on3/22/2022 and concluded on 3/22/2022. There were 178 children present, ranging in ages from 3 months to 6 years, with 30 staff supervising. The children were observed outside on the playground, writing sentences, sounding words, matching games, tracing numbers, puzzles and stories. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 3 child records and 3 staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on a review of children medication records, the center has not obtained a written care plan for each child with a diagnosed food allergy.
Evidence: Child #1,#2 and #3 have medications due to food allergies, there were no written care plans from a physician for the medications on site.
Plan of Correction: We will ask the parents to obtain a written care plan from the physician.
