Authorize the child day center to obtain a copy of the results of a search of the child abuse and neglect registry or equivalent registry from any state in which the individual has resided in the preceding five years within 30 days of a hiring.
The center did not ensure that child abuse and neglect registry searches were complete for Staff #3 and Staff # 6. Staff #3 and Staff #6 records did not have documentation of completed searches and are approximately 3 years out of compliance.
