Inspector Notes
A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted today to review supplemental health and safety requirements not covered in the licensing regulations. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date, and the two inspections combined cover all SHSI requirements. Based on interview conducted, it was determined that staff have not completed the annual health + safety training, as required for child care subsidy vendors. Evidence: The Provider + Assistant #2 have not completed the annual training since it was first due for them in 2019.
Plan of Correction: The inspector provided registration information for the training course. The caregivers will complete the training in the next month, and once every year thereafter.
