Inspector Notes
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted at 10:40am. Observed 9 children = 26 points with the Provider + Assistant #1 + Assistant #2. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. Children were playing with toys, washing hands, having diapers changed, and eating lunch during the inspection. Staff were actively engaged with the children and activities, and promptly tending to the needs of each child. A behavior management incident was handled in a nurturing age-appropriate manner. Lunch served included chicken soup, rick, scrambled eggs, banana, and milk. The daycare areas of the home were found to be clean and well supplied with toys and equipment for the children. The home is participating in the States VQB5 quality program. Areas of non-compliance with standards and laws reviewed were found.
