Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted at 11:38am-1:15pm. Observed 9 children totaling 26 points with 23caregivers. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. Children were observed eating lunch, washing hands, being diapered, taking naps and having quiet play. The caregivers were actively engaged with the children and promptly tending to their needs. The daycare areas of the home were found to be clean and well supplied with toys and equipment for the children. An area of non-compliance with standards and laws reviewed was found. Based on record reviewed and interviewed conducted, it was determined that emergency evacuation drills have not been practiced monthly. Evidence: The last recorded drill was documented as 12/15/23. Caregiver #2 reported that drills had not been practiced since that date.
