Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on 05/21 and concluded on 5/27. The director was contacted by phone to initiate the inspection. There were 5 children present and 1 staff present. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The inspector reviewed two children?s records and 1 staff record submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. The inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child care programs. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and the violation was documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.

Based on record review the provider did not have the required updated immunization records.
Evidence:
1. The inspector reviewed two children's records and both needed to be updated.
Plan of Correction: The provider will get the updated records from the parents.
