Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on 04/08/2025, as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 3:30 PM and ended at 4:40 PM. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 43 children present and 4 staff. The inspector reviewed 7 children?s records on site and 4 staff records electronically on 4/14/2025.
This inspection included:

Lockdown procedures shall be practiced at least annually.
There was no lock down drill documented during the past year.
Plan of Correction: Provider response:
A lock-down drill will be conducted as soon as possible and as needed.
Standard 8VAC20-780-60-A
Each center shall maintain and keep at the center a separate record for each child enrolled that contains each parent's place of business and work telephone number.
The record for child 2 did not have the mother's work telephone number.
Plan of Correction: Provider response:
All children's records will be reviewed to ensure that the records include the parents' work telephone numbers.
