Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on March 18, 2026, as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 10:05amand ended at 11:30am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 33 children present and 6 staff. The inspector reviewed five children?s records and five staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, observations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined noncompliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program

The Virginia Department of Education sponsored orientation course shall be completed within 90 calendar days of employment.

Staff #1, employed for 2 and a half years, did not complete the Virginia Department of Education sponsored orientation course within 90 calendar days of employment. Staff #6 confirmed that the Virginia Department of Education sponsored orientation course was not completed by Staff #1.
Plan of Correction: Staff #1 will complete the Virginia Department of Education sponsored orientation by April 10, 2026.
