A complaint was received in the licensing office on April 13, 2023 regarding staff and child ratios. On April 20, 2023 an on-site investigation was conducted. Interviews were conducted and observations were made.

Based on staff interviews, review of attendance records and video recordings, it was determined that one classroom of children between the ages of 16 months to 2 years old, was operated beyond the allowable staff-to-child ratio of 1:5 on one occasion.

1.On April 10, 2023, there were two staff with 13 children in the Infant B classroom between approximately 9:10 am to 9:20 am.

Plan of Correction: We adjusted the teacher schedule to ensure enough teachers are in the classroom during arrival. There are now 5 teachers assigned to the Infant program.
