Inspector Notes

An in person monitoring inspection was conducted today. All rooms are in ratio during the inspection. 2 staff and 4 child records were reviewed, including one "back-up" child in care.
All records were complete. Violations were discussed with the Director, and corrective actin plans were received. The inspection will be typed off site and emailed to the center for signatures.

Standard 8VAC20-780-40-M
Based on observation, the center did not maintain in a confidential manner, the written list of all children's allergies, sensitivities and dietary restrictions.
Evidence:
The allergy list in all classrooms was not kept confidentially. There is no cover on the list.
Plan of Correction: The lists will be covered with a cover sheet in each room.
Standard 8VAC20-780-440-B
Based on observation, the cribs and cots are not identified for use by a specific child.
Evidence:
The cribs in the infant room are not labeled for specific children.
Cots in the Spiders and Ladybugs rooms were not labeled for specific children.
Plan of Correction: The cribs were labeled during the inspection. All cots will be labeled by the end of the week.
Standard 8VAC20-780-550-G
Based on a review of documentation, emergency evacuation drills have not been documented monthly.
Evidence;
There is no documentation available for review for August 2022.
Plan of Correction: The drill was done, just not documented. I will check with the Asst. Director and have the drill documented.
