Inspector Notes

The Licensing Inspector initiated and completed an unannounced monitoring inspection on 5/14/2024. The inspector was on site from 3:40pm until 4:45pm.

There were 27 children under the care of 3 staff. The ages of the children ranged from six years old to eleven years old. The children were observed during indoor play and snack time. Three children?s record and three staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program

Based on observation, the center failed to ensure children?s hands shall be washed with soap and running water or disposable wipes before and after eating meals or snacks.

Evidence:
Children were observed eating snack. After the children finished there was no handwashing or wipes given to wipe hands.

Based on review, the center failed to maintain documentation of the emergency evacuation (fire) drills.
