During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on 5/15/2025 and completed on 5/15/2025. The on-site inspection began at 9:15 am and ended at 10:35 am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 74 children present and 15 staff. The inspector reviewed 7 children?s records and 5 staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, a tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.

Standard 8VAC20-780-260-B
The center shall obtain annual approval from the health department for meeting requirements for water supply and sewage disposal system.

The center's annual environmental sanitation inspection is overdue by four months.
Plan of Correction: The center has scheduled its annual environmental sanitation inspection with the local health department for May 22, 2025.
Standard 8VAC20-780-530-A-1
At least one staff in each classroom or area where children are present shall have current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) as appropriate to the age of the children in care from an organization such as the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, American Safety and Health Institute, or National Safety Council. The training shall include an in-person competency demonstration.

Staff #4, who was observed alone with a group of four two-year-olds, had documentation of CPR certification; however, the training did not have an in-person competency demonstration.
Plan of Correction: The required staff member has obtained current CPR certification, including an in-person competency demonstration, on May 15, 2025. The training was completed through the American Safety and Health Institute, which meets the regulatory requirements.
