Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on September 17, 2024 and completed on September 25, 2024. The on-site inspection began at 12:35 pm and ended at 1:10 pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 8 children present and 2 caregivers. The inspector reviewed 3 children?s records and 3 caregiver/household member(s) records on-site on September 17, 2024. This inspection included documentation review and tour of the facility.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the violation will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on October 2, 2024. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

A tuberculosis (TB) screening is required every two years from the last screening.

Evidence:
An updated TB screening for Caregiver #1, #2 and #3 was not completed and was overdue by five months.

Verification of identity and age of child shall be provided within seven business days of the child?s first day of attendance at the family day home.

Evidence:
There was no documentation of verification of identity and age for Child #3, who was in care during the inspection and child been in care for 5 months.
