A Code compliance inspection was conducted today. There were 2 children present with two staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and
nutrition. A total of two child records and four staff records were reviewed.

Based on the review of staff files, the facility failed to ensure that all staff complete a fingerprint background check prior to employment.
Evidence:
1. Staff #2 was hired on 6-15-22. The fingerprint background check is dated 6-24-22.
2. Staff #3 was hired on 5-20-22. There is no fingerprint background check on file.
Plan of Correction: Staff #3 has now been scheduled for his fingerprint background check. We are awaiting the results.
