Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on 08/27/2024 and completed on 08/29/2024. The on-site inspection began at 2:55 pm and ended at 3:45 pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 16 children present and 4 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records on-site and 4 staff records electronically on 08/29/2024. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation, the center failed to ensure that the required first aid kits shall include all required items.

Evidence: The first aid kit was missing the following required item: thermometer.
Plan of Correction: Staff will reach out to administrators to obtain a thermometer

Based on observation, the center failed to ensure the following non-medical emergency supplies shall be required: one working battery-operated radio in each building used by children.

Evidence: During the inspection, a working battery-operated radio was not available.
Plan of Correction: Staff will reach out to administrators to obtain batteries for the radio.

Based on observations, the center failed to ensure a menu listing food to be served for meals and snacks during the current one-week period shall be: dated; be posted in a location conspicuous to parents or given to parents; list any substituted food and be kept on file for one week at the center.

Evidence: No menu was posted or given to parents.
Plan of Correction: Staff will reach out to administrators for a solution.
