Inspector Notes

A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on-site June 6, 2024 from 11:39am until 12:15pm. There were 2 children present with 1 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Please complete the ?plan of correction? and ?date to be corrected? for each violation cited on the violation notice and return it to me within 5 business days from today. Please specify how the deficient practice will be or has been corrected. Your plan of correction should contain: 1) steps to correct the noncompliance with the standard(s), 2) measures to prevent the noncompliance from occurring again; and 3) person(s) responsible for implementing each step and/or monitoring any preventative measures. Based on a review of attendance records and interview, the vendor failed to maintain a written hard copy record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs.
Evidence: Upon arrival of the inspection, there was no documentation of the arrival of two children in care. The provider confirmed that attendance wasn't documented at arrival.
