During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on 2/13/2025. The on-site inspection began at 10:15am and ended at 12:25pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 49 children present and 8 staff. The inspector reviewed 6 children?s records and 5 staff records onsite. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility and interviews.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

The center is required to keep staff records with the following information: Documentation to demonstrate that the individual possesses the education, certification, and experience required by the job position.

Staff A, identified as a lead teacher, did not have documentation of the education required for the position.
Plan of Correction: Documentation was added to file for Staff Educational Requirement.
Standard 8VAC20-780-80-A
For each group of children, the center shall maintain a written record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs.

The written attendance in the nursery classroom had 4 children signed in, but there were 5 children present.
